Whom do I contact if I have a question about a product?
At LeapFrog SchoolHouse, we are committed to providing support for our customers and products. Contact us at 1-800-883-7430 if you have any questions about the product(s) you received. From getting started to improving your implementation, we have the Education Specialist on staff to meet your needs.
I can't find a particular LeapFrog product in the Educator Store. Why?
Most products in the LeapFrog SchoolHouse Education Store are made specifically for use in schools. The Store also offers a limited selection of LeapFrog consumer products, but a larger selection of consumer products is available in the LeapFrog Online Store at www.LeapFrog.com. Products in limited supply are usually blocked from sale but may reappear once additional supplies are made available.
How do I return a product?
Any item purchased may be returned for a refund, credit to a purchase order, or credit to a customer account (contingent upon initial purchase payment terms). The return policy for merchandise is 30 days from the date of receipt. To return merchandise:
- Call LeapFrog SchoolHouse customer support at 1-800-883-7430 to discuss the nature of your return and to alert us of your intentions. When you call, please have your initial purchase information available-either your school's Purchase Order number or the LeapFrog SchoolHouse sales order number from your invoice or packing list.
- All returns must include original packaging.
- All returns must be marked with an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number prior to shipping back to LeapFrog SchoolHouse Returns Warehouse in order for the account to be credited. The return authorization process will begin upon your call to customer support. A customer service representative will contact you within five business days with the RMA number and the warehouse address. Both of these must be clearly marked on the shipping carton.
- Returned materials are shipped at the customer's expense to the provided warehouse address.
- Credit is issued upon receipt of product.
For non-defective exchanges, all of the above procedures apply. In most instances, credit will be issued for product cost and tax only (excludes shipping charges) to the customer account, and a new purchase order must be written and submitted for the desired material.
Is there a warranty on LeapFrog products?
Yes. Unless otherwise stated, products from LeapFrog SchoolHouse are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of 12 months from the original purchase date, under normal use and service, against defective workmanship and material unless otherwise stated.
This warranty is void if products are damaged by accident or other unreasonable use, neglect, abuse, battery leakage, improper installation, improper service, or other causes not arising out of defects in workmanship or materials. Repair or replacement as provided under this warranty is the exclusive remedy of the purchase.
LeapFrog SchoolHouse shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of any express warranty on our products. Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on our products is limited to the duration of this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. During the warranty period, your product(s) will either be repaired or replaced at LeapFrog SchoolHouse's discretion when you return it, shipping prepaid and with proof of purchase date as instructed by a LeapFrog SchoolHouse representative. In the event that your product is replaced, the replacement will be continued under the original warranty or for 30 days, whichever is longer.
Defective products are processed through our customer support department. Procedures for defective product(s) under warranty are as follows:
- Contact the customer support department of LeapFrog SchoolHouse at 1-800-883-7430 and explain your problem to one of our experienced service agents. In many cases, potential defects can be troubleshot and rectified with a simple phone call or replacement part.
- In the event that a customer service representative indicates the possibility of a defect, they will instruct you on how to return the product for replacements.
- Once your product(s) is/are received, diagnostic evaluations will be run and the product will either be repaired or replaced at our expense.
